Fishing Trip

On our Fishing Trip from Puerto Morelos (leaving from the hotel) you can do both bottom fishing or trolling

Trolling is a patient sport. The boat moves through the water pulling the lines in hopes of attracting the larger billfish; sailfish, mackerel, mahi-mahi, marlin and sometimes large barracuda.

When trolling it is important to watch the rods as they are being pulled because as the fish attack the bait, the tip of the rod will bend toward the water. Sometimes the clicker on the reel does not go off when a fish is biting, so the bending of the rod is important to watch.

However, when that noisy clicker does go off you can feel the adrenaline rush in you blood as the Captain and mate take their positions for possibly bringing in “the big one.” After hearing that clicker go off you will begin the task of reeling in your catch which could take a half-hour or more.

Trolling is exciting, but again, it is patience too.

If you are looking for a great adventure, we invite you to take a four wheeler trip. It will give you a beautiful view of the mayan jungle and a noisy refreshing ride around the cenotes in the jungle.

Don’t worry if you don’t know how to ride a four wheeler. There are guides who can help you learn how. They will teach you how to start the vehicle, change gears, use the brakes and control it on the beach before you take off.

They will also provide you with a helmet for protection and instructions that are necessary during the trip if anything happens and how to conduct yourself through the city. There is no reason to lose the opportunity to take this trip.
